Executive read
The workflow produced consistent public activity, not a proven growth result
Lumora Lens completed 34 public contributions during the initial sprint. Reddit activity focused on SaaS founders struggling with distribution and local business owners dealing with social workload, while X included a broader mix of product discovery and direct promotional replies.
The execution target was met and Reddit Pro was configured for future monitoring. No tagged-link conversion window was in place before the sprint, so this study does not claim signups, leads, customers, revenue, or a performance lift from the activity.
Method
Relevance first, promotion only where it fit
The working rules were designed to reduce spam and keep the reply useful even when no product link appeared.
- 01
Choose conversations near the product
Advice replies were limited to SaaS distribution problems and local-business social workload, the two customer groups closest to Lumora's offer.
- 02
Match the thread's intent
Posts explicitly inviting products, links, or reviews could receive a direct Lumora mention. Advice posts received advice without forcing a link into the reply.
- 03
Keep the writing compact and natural
Replies used one or two connected sentences, a direct observation, and restrained product language instead of a polished sales paragraph.
- 04
Stop at execution evidence
The count covers published contributions and channel setup. It does not turn impressions, profile visits, or untracked attention into a claimed business outcome.
Useful advice carried more weight than repeated promotion
Reddit required tighter contextual judgment. The strongest target posts came from SaaS founders asking how to get distribution and local owners describing content, message, or review workload. Direct links belonged in explicit product-drop and feedback threads, while other replies worked better as short advice tied to the same underlying problem.
- Target r/SaaS, r/SideProject, and relevant business communities
- Avoid duplicate language across adjacent threads
- Use the profile link when the thread does not invite promotion
Direct product language fit more often, but still needed context
X allowed a more direct offer in conversations about finding users, social media workload, and launching products. The Lumora URL produced a visible link preview, giving the reply a clearer product destination without requiring a long explanation in the text itself.
- Lead with the problem the original post described
- Use the full Lumora URL when a product destination fits
- Keep volume below the point where replies look copied
Reddit Pro setup completed
The next sprint starts with monitoring instead of a blank search bar
The existing Reddit account was registered for Reddit Pro as Lumora Lens in the Software and Applications category, with lumoralens.com as the business URL. The public profile now uses the Lumora Lens display name and describes the product as automating social media posts, DMs, comments, and Google reviews for busy businesses.
Analysis
What the first sprint actually changed
It replaced vague posting goals with a target-customer rule
The reply queue became easier to judge once advice posts had to come from SaaS distribution problems or local-business social workload. That filter is narrow enough to support the product without making every conversation promotional.
It separated advice from permission to promote
A thread asking for links creates a different permission boundary from a founder asking for help. Treating them differently protects trust and gives the product mention more weight when it does appear.
It exposed the measurement gap before more volume was added
Execution counts are easy to collect, but they do not answer whether the right people visited, started a trial, or returned later. The next sprint needs tagged destinations and a fixed observation window before posting volume increases.
Evidence boundary
What this study supports and what it does not
- 34 public contributions were completed
- 20 were Reddit comments
- 14 were X posts or replies
- The Lumora URL produced an X link preview
- Reddit Pro business and profile setup was completed
- No signup or conversion attribution
- No lead-quality comparison by channel
- No revenue or customer acquisition result
- No proof that higher reply volume would improve outcomes
- No customer result that can be generalized to buyers

Run the method for 14 days with tagged destinations
The next useful case-study update should connect each promotional contribution to a tagged landing page, record profile and landing visits by channel, distinguish advice from direct offers, and measure trial starts without treating a click as a customer.
- Day 0Set Reddit and X campaign tags, baseline traffic, and a fixed target list.
- Days 1 to 14Publish at a controlled pace with unique language and a saved source URL for every contribution.
- Day 15Compare qualified visits and trial starts by channel, then publish the result even if the lift is zero.
